Thank you, BB. I adopted an 11 y.o. senior dog and renamed her Dingo Pumpkin Girl - Pumpkin 🎃 for short. She’s a sweetie. The Dingo part was my respectful nod to her Australian cattle dog ancestry.
I just discovered your Substack through @drnicholascorrin — whose work I deeply respect — and I’m so grateful for the introduction. This piece is a beautiful convergence of rigorous thought and sacred imagination.
Your vision of the soul as a quantum soliton resonated on many levels, especially with its echoes in Kabbalistic concepts of devekut and the soul’s coherence with the Ein Sof. Your articulation of the Imaginal Realm as a real and active domain where archetypes take form reminds me of the deeper currents running through both mystical Judaism and early Christian apophatic traditions.
I’m especially grateful for your respectful treatment of the world’s spiritual traditions — not dismissing or denigrating them, but recognizing that each human being (soul) is on their own journey, viewing reality through a unique and evolving lens. We all have so much to learn from one another — if only we would.
Thank you for your clarity, your curiosity, and your courage. The spiritual hunger of our time demands exactly this kind of integrative, rational, and yet transcendent inquiry. Looking forward to reading more.
Thank you so much for your thoughtful response. Recognition of the quantum soliton concept's resonance with Kabbalistic teachings and the soul's relationship to Ein Sof demonstrates exactly the kind of integrative thinking that these conversations inspire.
Respectful treatment of diverse spiritual traditions indeed touches on something essential -- that genuine inquiry demands humility before the mystery while maintaining commitment to coherent understanding. Thank you again and welcome aboard!
Splendid! A convincing, clear and internally coherent explanation of Rational Spirituality's guiding principles and taproot in the Mundus Imaginalis. This is all very refreshing to read and inviting for new readers to follow and absorb. Above all, it is highly relevant to the times we are living in. A potent mix, thank you!
It is not explain the 'Truth' under this article but only a inside of a eyeopening of it! It can only lead to a real deal what people have to deal with! Believe it or looking for more other true to find the 'Whole' real 'Truth'! That is here the question on this!
"I rather fancy the notion of being a disembodied wave packet zipping around the universe at superluminal speed and visiting various ‘attractions.’" Me too. Although I would love to zip around in our oceans first.
Had an NDE when I was 17. In 1963, when I had never heard of such a thing, it was many years before I knew there was a name for it and I was not alone. Not elaborate, and I remember everything about it. Just finished The Holographic Universe. There is so much to wonder about, and to wonder at. Your article has such a wealth of information, Thank you again!
I agree wholeheartedly! Michael Talbot's "The Holographic Universe" explores a fascinating and challenging concept -- that every part of the universe contains the whole, suggesting a fundamental unity between all matter, energy, and consciousness.
For those not familiar with Talbot's work, his model offers explanations for memory, intuition, and even paranormal phenomena -- including near-death experiences (NDEs). He builds on David Bohm’s idea of an “Implicate Order,” which also influenced our own theory of Quantum Coalescence (link).
I believe phenomena such as NDEs are often accompanied by a sense of special mission or purpose in life. Many who have had these experiences report a profound shift in perspective, a renewed sense of connection, and sometimes an inner calling to share their insights or help others.
As a recovering nihilist with a renewed sense of spirituality—and a deep respect for science—I found this piece beautifully articulated. It’s so refreshing to see someone thoughtfully bridging both realms. Thank you for putting words to something that often feels hard to explain.
Additionally, sending love to you and for Ozzie. I recently lost a pup as well--my heart is with you!
Thank you for your kind words and condolences, Madeline. I extend my heartfelt sympathy to you as well for the recent loss of your beloved companion. The bonds we share with our animal friends run deep, and their absence is deeply felt.
Nietzsche keenly foresaw the crisis of meaning that now characterizes much of Western civilization -- a crisis where science has become as dogmatic as religion. Each, in its own way, seems to have reached a state of maximum entropy, leaving the average person understandably distrustful of institutional authority.
Rational Spirituality seeks to contribute to a life-affirming metaphysical worldview. We hope to foster a space where nihilism gives way to scientific reason and spiritual truth. Thank you very much for your support of our efforts.
Beautiful article, I loved it! It speaks to what's inside my soul, but don't know how to express in words. There is so much to unpack in this piece, I will be reading again many times. I have always known that we will be reunited with our beloved pets someday in another time and space. I feel the ones I've lost in my soul and that they are always with me.
ancient wisdom can not explain the Creation of all creations as a Creator behind it! So that is mine point inside of 'ancient wisdom'! It is just what you all want to believe! Believing in lies? or in the 'Whole' Truth?
Condolences on the loss of your beloved Ozzie! 🙏 I also feel sure we'll be reunited with our beloved pets.
And I'm glad to hear more people have discovered your work. Thanks for another thought-provoking piece!
