do i better understand the words, "God Dammit" ? It all just became horrifying with what I feel Aldous Huxley would perhaps call this an "extraordinary" essay.

Thank you for the comment and compliment, Dean. It's little wonder that the institutional church rejected the gnostics and Marcion, who was formally condemned as a heretic and excommunicated in AD 144. He was regarded as one of the most significant early "arch-heretics" for creating a distinct, widespread theology (Marcionism) that rejected the Old Testament and separated its God from the God of the New Testament.

In other words, for following the teachings of Jesus with precision. I'm a devout Marcionite monk.

I think God, is always evolving.From Jesus, to HE who comes next? That answers many questions. Regarding the change & evolution into a "-less compassionate & forgiving God-" just a thought I have.
